Kids growing up overnight need networks today.

When illness or loss hits a family, a child often becomes the emotional anchor, the second parent, the quiet backup plan. We see them. And we are building a network so they are not alone.

What is a hidden caregiver?

The child who becomes the extra adult.

Research suggests millions of U.S. youth provide ongoing care for a family member, often 20 hours a week on top of school. Many never get named. Many never get seen. This network is for them, and for the adults who love them.

How we help

Three connected steps.

01

Strengthen peer support pathways

We partner with established organizations already serving families — Blood Cancer United (formerly LLS), National Kidney Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, CASA, Rainbows for All Children — so families find support sooner, not after a crisis.

02

Build the referral village

A practical, filterable directory of schools, nonprofits, counselors, and affordable youth programs, organized by who you are and where you live. Built so a teacher, counselor, or parent can say, here is where to start.

03

Amplify stories to reduce stigma

Zoom interviews with parents and kids, shared on Facebook and Instagram, normalize asking for help and remind hidden caregivers that what they feel is valid.
